Dance of the Cranes

Introducing the first painting of the Moody Folks collection, Dance of the Cranes. This painting is composed of a few different styles that I personally gravitate towards. By mixing dark moody colors, American traditional tattooing inspiration, with a mix of folk art, funky patterns, and ornamental; I have curated this collection of paintings that has a little bit of everything.

The Dance of the Cranes is based on how lifelong mated sandhill cranes will perform a dance by throwing a stick in the air to display their love towards each other. This painting captures the beauty of love and eternal love, which is referenced by the red string tied to the stick.

Limited prints of the Dance of the Cranes will be available. Only fifty prints will be printed on 11"x17" Red River Matte paper and hand signed.
