About The Artist

Hello, beautiful souls! My name is Brittany Ransome. As you can see, my business name is not as original as you might have thought. I was just born with the name. I am a completely self-taught artist who loves to express art through all kind of mediums. My primary choice of mediums would include acrylics and micron pens, but I enjoy expressing art through everything my fingers touch. Whether it is a cup of coffee or capturing the way the sunlight hits the tree in a picture, I am a firm believer that art makes the world beautiful and allows people from all backgrounds to connect and understand each other. In my artworks, be on the look for tiny little clues to understand my perspectives on life. These clues could include notes painted in paintings to artwork being based on a certain song. If you listen to the lyrics, you will get a better picture of my mind. Art should be expressive, so the more you analyze my art the more you might get to understand me.

Now that you know a little about my art, let's get back to a little more about myself. I am an artist from Florida. I was not born here but I have lived here my whole life basically. Therefore, I enjoy your typical Florida activities such as: the beach, boating, watching the sunsets. That being said, I am also a huge home body and enjoy staying in with my cats. Whether its painting, drawing, or reading a book, my favorite thing to do is be home creating and taking care of my cats. I am a huge animal lover and I think that quality comes from my mom and grandmother. Not only have they impacted my love for animals, they have also impacted my views on life. If you know me personally, you would know that I lost my mom when I was eleven to ovarian cancer at the young age of thirty-two and I lost my grandmother at the age of nineteen. Both of them have made me the person and the artist I am today, along with the help of my other family members and I can not be more thankful for the short time I had with them. The made me value life more. So now you know a little more about me, I hope you enjoy the arts and find my little clues.
